Overview

As a talent assistant, your responsibilities are to coordinate the schedule and interviews for talent. Talent is a term typically used for celebrities, important visitors, candidates for high-level positions, or executives within the company. 

 

Responsibilities 

• Coordination. You may be asked to schedule calls, arrange for travel and hotel accommodations, manage itineraries, compile expense reports, and maintain contact information. Depending on the event, you may need to travel with talent on a frequent basis and work independently or with a larger team. 

• Relationship Tracking. You will be required to maintain a log of all interactions that involve the talent. Interactions can include but are not limited to interviews, podcasts, events, sponsorships, promotions, and much more. You will be required to report the log to the talent manager on a monthly basis. 

• Recruitment & Social Media. You may also be asked to assist in other ways, such as recruiting additional support, helping the company find new talent, or managing social media accounts on behalf of the talent. You are restricted from sharing any of the talent’s metrics and confidential content (passwords, etc.) with anyone unless approved by talent and/or talent manager. You will be required to report social engagement metrics to the team. 

• Professionalism. Given that you will be exposed to other talent and celebrities, it is required that you maintain discretion and remain professional at all times. Please adhere to any dress codes and other rules set in place per each engagement.  You may not use any of the talent’s resources or contacts for personal gain unless approved by the talent and/or talent manager. 

 

Time Commitment 
10 - 20 hours on a weekly basis 
If a major event occurs, you may be asked to work longer hours.
